that's me

HI. I'M KARLOWS.

I build software, break things, then call it security research.

Cybersecurity student who enjoys building tools, automating boring stuff, and exploring systems most people don't want to touch.

no frameworks were harmed in the making of this site probably overthinking something ↴
definitely not a robot this took way longer than it should have ↴
bug count: it's a feature :)

Things I made

some of these actually work ↖
stronger than your ex's excuses ↴
PROJECT 01 stable-ish

Password strength analyzer

CipherCheck

Weak passwords, meet your reckoning.

I got tired of seeing people use "password123", so I built something to judge their life choices. Checks strength and entropy, estimates crack time, and generates genuinely secure passwords instead.

PROJECT 02 actively poked

Network recon in your terminal

NetTools-cli

Fifteen browser tabs, replaced by one terminal.

All the network tools you want, without opening 15 browser tabs and copying commands from Stack Overflow. Fast, scriptable, and built for the terminal — because terminals beat GUIs.

PROJECT 03 surprisingly stable

Smarter resumes, better you

ResumeIQ

Because "Experienced in Excel" deserved backup.

Because apparently "Experienced in Excel" needed an entire application. Analyzes, scores, and improves your resume so your future self doesn't have to cringe.

What I do

basically, I do stuff on my computer

Cybersecurity

I find the holes before the bad guys do. You're welcome.

Automation

If it's boring and repeatable, the computer does it now.

Bug creation

I don't always debug. Sometimes I just add more features.

Experiments

Weird ideas. Questionable decisions. Great lessons.

it works on my machine the words before every demo ↖

Illustrated portrait of Karlows as a sunglasses-wearing cat at a battle station desk, surrounded by coffee, sticky notes reading 'git commit pray' and 'it works on my machine', a TODO list, and the caption 'I just Google until it works.'

wait, who is Karlows?

Cybersecurity student. Developer. Linux enjoyer.

I like turning ideas into real things.

Currently learning. Always building. Probably drinking coffee right now.

The meme above is not an exaggeration.
